Artzeum is a FREE annual interactive children’s arts exhibit happening each summer at our Kemp Center location. It includes multiple interconnected activity stations where kids can learn about the arts through play.

The exhibit is designed for ages 6 - 12 but is suitable for older children, or younger children with one-on-one adult assistance.

Open during regular hours: Tuesday - Friday 9:00AM-5:00PM and Saturday 9:00AM-3PM

Group Reservations

Group reservations can be made for Tuesdays or Thursdays, either 10:30-11:30 AM or 1:30-2:30 PM.  Group capacity is 20 children.  Groups should provide 1 adult chaperone per 4 children attending.  Please contact [email protected] or 940-767-2787 ext 114 for reservation details.

Artzeum is a component of both galleries and education programming. It is open free of charge to all visitors. Our goal is to continue partnership with several local arts and children’s organizations, helping to bring a wider audience to the exhibit. 

Artzeum is designed from the ground-up each year to fit the annual theme. This primarily includes staff-designed components, as well as elements provided by other organizations. Each activity station is carefully composed to provide experience with different types of arts and arts thought-processes. This includes poetry and writing, visual art, and music, as well as engaging children through story-telling, reading, and movement.

This free community exhibit is funded solely through donation and sponsorship.
