Sandra Willard: January 15 - March 25, 2027
ACWFSandra Willard is a Canadian-American artist whose work creates a narrative that prompts contemplation of beauty that is fleeting, juxtaposed with beauty that endures, through still lifes inspired by the 17th century Dutch masters.
Willard had her first solo show in 2011, when her series Scratching the Surface: The Art of Sandra Willard was exhibited at the Illini Union Art Gallery for the University of Illinois in Urbana, IL. Since then, her work has been shown in a range of exhibitions and galleries nationally.
Among the awards Willard has received are the 2025 National 2D Competition, Cape Fear Studios, Best in Show; 2025 Arts North International 30, Hopkins Center for the Arts, 2 Sponsor Awards; 2014 Art Renewal Center, 2013-2014 ARC Salon, Finalist; 2012, Art on the Square, Belleville, IL, Best of Show.
Her work will be published in the upcoming Best of Drawing magazine by The Artist’s Magazine that will be available on newsstands in December 2025.
Willard currently works in her studio located in Deer Park, Washington. She enjoys spending her free time with her husband, Thomas, and their two birds.
